I’ll be playing some art gallery field recordings at Binary Jam 17 organised by Sound Network. It’s taking place at Wolstenholme Creative Space, 11 Wolstenholme Square, Liverpool, L4 4JJ on the 22nd of October, from 7.30 til late.
It’s a great opportunity to play my field recordings, especially recent binaural recordings of the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. It’s going to be interesting as it’s quite a subtle experience, and it’s going to sandwiched in between two live sets by digital musicians. I’m curious to hear how the sounds of one exhibition space intermingle with another, and how the audience reacts to ‘the sounds of a renaissance painting’.
There’s booze and DJ’s too.
