Legends of Circumstance – Bargate Gallery

Legends of Circumstance will be touring to The Bargate Monument Gallery in Southampton. It’s a great chance for us to show all the work after the great feedback we’ve had from the Whitecross Gallery show. The Private View for the show is on Friday the 12th of Feruary. The show is open to the public from saturday the 13th of February to Sunday 21st of March.

Artists included are:

Adam Dant, Frances Disley, Dave Evans, Mikey Georgeson, Mark Hampson, John Hewitt, Peter Lloyd, Ryan Maclelland, Laura Oldfield Ford, John Strutton and James Unsworth.

The Bargate Monument Gallery is open during exhibition dates; Wednesday to Friday from 11-6, Saturday & Sunday from 12 – 5. Entry is FREE.

The Bargate Monument Gallery is run by a space, an arts organisation that supports emerging artistic talent and enables the development of sustainable careers within the arts. The gallery is set in a 800-year-old monument standing in the heart of Southampton’s city centre. The Bargate was originally built as the main gateway to the medieval city and has held a number of important positions throughout its history. These include being the city’s guildhall (until the 1770’s) and the police headquarters during WW2 . It is now a fully functioning exhibition space in which we will be hanging Legends of Circumstance!
